I am a French student and my friends and I are carrying out research about Irish music for a university work. We are very interested in Irish music and in its the perception in Ireland. If you don't mind, we'd like some of you to answer those questions to help us with our work:
1-What is the status of the Irish traditional music in your daily life and in the Irish society ? Do you often feel like listening to it (on radio ? in pubs/ festivals ?)
2-How would you recognize that a song is Irish ?
3-What makes the distinction between Irish and English music ?
